“We are all in this together and there is no therapist and no person immune to the inherent tragedies of existence.”

Hello and welcome!

My passion for working with grief and loss came from my own experience with bereavement. I have experienced multiple close family deaths due to various untimely and tragic events. I know what it’s like to feel like there’s no time for grief because the responsibilities left behind feel like a never ending ‘to do’ list. I also know what it’s like when the grief hits you in the midst of it all and seemingly swallows you up. It was my own healing journey accompanied with education, and therapy that fueled my fire. It motivated me to help others better adapt to the hard, and sometimes unbearable experiences in life.

I consider myself an eclectic therapist by utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as the following: Gestalt, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Client-Centered Therapy adapting my methods to suit the individual needs of each client.
